Whereas the fact is that the future of a nation lies in the hands of the youth, meaning that they will replace the previous generation in leading the nation.
Youth are agents of change. Associated with Oath of Youth, this expression is true. In history, The struggle of the Indonesian people to free themselves from the shackles of colonialism, initially carried out regionally for three centuries, entered a new history with the rise of a number of youths establishing national youth organizations. The struggle which was initially more cultural in nature turned into a struggle that brought issues of nationalism by prioritizing political diplomacy.
From a glance to historical events date 28 October 1928 which became known as the "Youth Pledge" occurred thanks to the agreement that arose between the leaders of youth and regional organizations.
Youth must also be the engine of change to face the era of digitalization. In this digital era, we must not close ourselves to globalization, but that doesn't mean we swallow everything without filtering. Youth are also required to maintain the local wisdom of the archipelago such as customs and culture. Therefore, this is where the role of youth as a counterweight is at stake and even the country's stability is expected.
It's time for us to aggressively socialize and implement the Motto “Modern-Cultivated” in order to maintain the integrity of the nation.
